Show the trailer, not the movie

Have you ever had a great meeting with a prospective client, only for them to (try) to put all your great advice into practice, without you?  

It’s a very common problem experienced by financial advisers.

After all, you want to help people, and you know they’re not going to pay for your advice unless you tell them what they’re paying for… right?
